VANQUISH™ antimicrobials are based on the novel active agent N-butyl-1,2-benzisothiazolin-3-one (BBIT). They have a broad spectrum of activity used to (a) prevent fungal, bacterial and algal spoilage of polymers and (b) to impart surface activity on plastics or dry paint films to give a hygienic or antibacterial effect.
