The European Patent Office recently granted Arch Chemicals, Inc. a patent for our Zinc Omadine ZOE™ dispersion product, which is used in interior and exterior paints to deter the growth of mold and mildew. 

The new patent is the third granted by the European Patent Office for proprietary Arch® formulations containing pyrithione compounds in combination with certain zinc salts.  Our patents, covering such formulations, are now recognized in over 15 countries.

The ZOE™ dispersion is the latest addition to the Omadine™ antimicrobial product line and is formulated to prevent discoloration due to interactions with various elements in paint formulations.
