Rick L. Walden |
Rick L. Walden is Senior Vice President, Industrial Biocides, Performance Products and Asia Pacific of Arch Chemicals, Inc. (NYSE: ARJ), a global biocides company with annual sales of over $1 billion. In this role, he is responsible for global operations of these core Biocides businesses and the Company’s Performance Products business segment. He also oversees Arch’s operations in the Asia-Pacific region, a vital growth area for the Company.
Mr. Walden served as Vice President and General Manager, Industrial Biocides and Performance Products since January 2007. He was responsible for each businesses‘ profitability strategy as well as the global growth strategy for the Industrial Biocides business. Prior to that, he was Director of Performance Products and held other roles of increasing responsibility at multiple locations, including serving as Director of the Hydrazine business and the Sulfuric Acid business until the time of its divestiture in 2003.
Mr. Walden joined Olin Corporation in August 1980 at its manufacturing facility located in Brandenburg, Kentucky. He was employed by Monsanto in St. Louis, Missouri as an Engineer from 1975 to 1980.
Mr. Walden received his engineering degree in 1975 from Tennessee Technological University. He is a Licensed Professional Engineer in North Carolina and Kentucky. He received his Masters in Business Administration in May 1986 from Bellarmine University.
Mr. Walden is located at Arch Chemicals’ office in Atlanta, Georgia.
