Our Product Stewardship program reflects our commitment to the ChemStewards® initiative in the United States and to Responsible Care and related EHS programs in many overseas nations. Some key Product Stewardship services we offer include:
- Technical expertise provided to our customers about issues concerning our products, including formulations and chemical properties.
- Environmental and safety experts to make customers aware of any environmental risks associated with our products and help reduce the risk of environmental damage.
- Transportation experts to help ensure that all of our shipments and carriers are in compliance with all government and other regulations.
- Storage and handling training programs to inform customers about proper storage and handling to reduce the risk associated with chemicals.
- Risk assessment programs to assure customers that risks inherent in a new product or new application have been evaluated from product conception to product disposal and minimized. We also help customers develop business strategies addressing the full product life cycle that result in product differentiation, risk assessment, shareholder satisfaction and enhanced resource productivity.
- Supplier assessments to assist us in proactively ensuring that our products are made from the finest raw materials; and assessments to develop inherently safer products, processes, and distribution through the entire supply chain.
- Community outreach programs that promote confidence and trust through communication and personal interactions. Our programs help us evaluate and address concerns with the community about the environmental, health and safety effects of our manufacturing plants, and they are a great way to share information between the community and our operations.

We also provide updated information regarding actual and anticipated changes in standards, laws and regulations on a regular basis.
- Industrial hygiene, medical and toxicology experts who provide expertise about industrial hygiene, medical issues and toxicology in the workplace to ensure that our products are properly handled, applied and stored. We also help reduce the danger of chemical exposure by evaluating the plant environment.
