pH Plus®
Used to raise pH levels in pool water.  It helps prevent corrosion of metal fixtures and hard surfaces in the pool. HTH® pH Plus is composed of white, odorless granular sodium carbonate, also known as “soda ash.”

Application
•  Broadcast widely over the deep end of the pool with water circulating.

Useful Tips
•  Always ensure that pH is between 7.2 and 7.6 before treatment.
•  If pH is less than 7.2 broadcast correct dosage across pool to raise pH.
•  If pool water is irritating to the eyes or skin or if pool surface is rough
    and pitted, you may have low pH.   For pool protection and bather comfort, 
    test your water and balance the pH accordingly.

pH Minus
Used to lower pH levels in pool water.  Equally effective at lowering your pool’s pH levels or lowering total alkalinity (TA), depending how the product is applied HTH® pH Minus is is a white, granular form of sodium bisulphate (dry acid).

Application
•  Broadcast widely over the deep end of the pool with water circulating.

Useful Tips
•  Always ensure that pH is between 7.2 and 7.6 before treatment.
•  If pH is higher than 7.8 broadcast correct dosage across pool to lower pH.
•  If pool water is drying out the eyes or skin or if pool surface is rough
    and scally, you may have high pH.   For pool protection and bather comfort, 
    test your water and balance the pH accordingly.
