Keep your hair and swimsuit the right color!

Problem
No one wants to see their favorite swimsuit bleached out from a fun day at the pool. When this happens it is because you have too much chlorine in the water and aren't staying within the recommended levels, which is between 1 - 4 ppm. Not only a faded swimsuit, but bleached hair or irritated eyes are possible symptoms of high free available chlorine (FAC).

Solution
  • Allow sunlight to decrease FAC.
  • Stop adding chlorine until the FAC level is 1 - 4 ppm

Preventative Maintenance
  • Test FAC and maintain levels in the range of 1 - 4 ppm. Adjust chlorine levels accordingly
  • Verify correct dosage for your pool volume when using any HTH® Chlorinating product
