These products are regulated by the United States under The Federal Insecticide, Fungicide and Rodenticide Act, 7 U.S.C. § 136 et seq. ("FIFRA"), the Hazardous Materials Transportation Act, 49 U.S.C. Appx. 1801, et seq., and the regulations issued pursuant to those statutes. Additionally, storage, handling and disposal of these products is subject to other applicable Federal, state and local laws, regulations, ordinances and codes. National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) codes and standards also apply to these products and their storage. Persons who store or handle these products are responsible for complying with all applicable laws, regulations, ordinances, codes and standards. Anyone who deals with these products should be aware of these requirements, and should be familiar with the characteristics of these products and proper emergency and first aid procedures.
