Now, the most recognized brand of preserved wood has yet another award to its credit: having already earned environmental recognitions and the endorsement of Hometime's Dean Johnson, Wolmanized® Residential Outdoor® wood has earned the coveted Good Housekeeping Seal. |
The Good Housekeeping Seal is a limited warranty to consumers which promises replacement or refund if the product is defective. Patricia Haegele, senior vice president and publisher of Good Housekeeping, said, "Consumers know that only products that have passed the tests and evaluations of the Good Housekeeping Institute are eligible to earn the Seal. Beyond the policies of manufacturers and retailers, consumers are reassured that they will get the product performance that they expect or Good Housekeeping will right the situation. We're delighted to welcome Wolmanized lumber into the Seal family of products."
Earning the Seal is a major coup for any product. It is viewed as a virtual stamp of approval, indicative of a superior product that has been tested and shown to perform as promised. Among all consumer emblems, the Good Housekeeping Seal is rated as the highest level of influence on products purchased; 91% of respondents acknowledge that the Seal influences their buying decisions. That's higher than Consumer Reports, the FDA, or Underwriters Laboratories. To learn the value of the Seal, click here. (1.27 MB PDF)
