Timber treated with Tanalised® timber preservatives from an approved dealer qualifies for the Tanalised® Guarantee, which is:
| • a guarantee against insect attack and wood decay; |
| • replacement guarantee of timber rendered structurally unservicable; |
| • transferable from one owner to the next. |
How does the Tanalised® Guarantee Work?
With the new, simple and easy to use Tanalised® Lifetime Guarantee, no paperwork is required. The guarantee is passed down the customer chain right down to the property owner on whose property the treated timber is installed. The treater and treated timber dealer are each issued with their own customized guarantee ink stamp to be used on invoices and delivery notes.
Leading building contractors who purchase treated products from approved dealers may apply to participate in the Tanalised® Guarantee Programme.

How will we know that the wood has been treated with a Tanalised® timber preservative?
Tanalised treaters will place a special TANTM diamond on the wood. For treated sawn timber products, this TANTM diamond will be found stamped on the wood together with the certification mark, an example of which is seen below:
Tanalised® Weatherwood treated poles will have a TANTM mark on the small certification plate (pine poles) or the anti-split plate (gum poles).
